He hated me. I could feel his emotions through the bond, but truth be told anyone could feel what he was right now. Anger, betrayal, and hurt were rolling off him in waves. As soon as the door slammed shut behind him, I broke down. Everything that was happening was just too much. I wasn’t even sure what any of these changes to come would be or how I would handle them, but I wasn’t sure I would be able to without Gage by myside.
