Ronan, Marius and Mikael wasted no time, hearing the clamoring of steel, and the sound of canines lashing, amidst various growls and howls that filled the darkening sky. The scene before them was brutal, a host of wolves, a few bears and even a snake battling against one another. Smack in the middle of it all he saw Cora, arms stretched to sky, head tilted back. A clap of lightning bloomed and he knew it was from her, she was summoning the storm with her magic. Nixa, along with an orange wolf, flanked either side of her, fending of attacks as wolves lunged at his vulnerable lover. He raced toward them, knowing Marius could fend for himself. Heavy panting came from behind him, and Ronan knew it was Mikael. By the time he reached Cora and his sister, a new wave of attacks had begun.
