Nova stood from her place on the floor and walked to the window. She sat down on the cushion, not bothering to look at her sister who was standing there silently crying. She understood Cora was hurt, afraid, but it didn’t excuse the coldness in which she spoke to people they called Mother and Father. Her heart clenched at the thought of those words. She knew she had to tell Cora about her conversation with the Beta, but her sisters hardened personality was a force to be reckoned with and she had no interest in watching the castle burn. Nova sighed inwardly. No, Cora deserves to know, she would just have to place her trust at her sisters feet and have faith in the Goddess Cora would hear her without reacting. She took a deep breath and let it out. Here goes nothing, she thought to herself.
