Katelyn’s Point of view
I called his number for the first time, as I took a deep breath, not sure how he would respond.
“Hello?” He answered like he wasn’t interested in speaking to me. I swallowed hard without saying anything else. I just went on asking
“Are you free?” I calmly said.
“Katelyn? Is everything okay?” He asked. I paused, wondering why he would think about me calling him. Then something must be wrong with me.
“Katelyn?” he called my name again, bringing me back to reality.
“Yes I am fine. Can I meet you just for a few minutes? I promise I won’t take….” I quickly said to him and he didn’t respond but just kept quiet.
“Sure. We can? I can pass through your house later today?” He said to me, was he trying to make sure people didn’t see me with him?
