Nicole looked at the time and it was 10 am with no sign of Gillian coming downstairs. She sighed heavily looking at the empty space at the table, her husband had gone for a meeting with both his sons and she was alone. She got up taking a deep breath before heading to Gillian’s room. She knocked on the door twice and Gillian wasn’t opening.

Gillian got up the next day trying to forget her mother’s words but they kept on coming back. She covered her head closing her eyes trying not to think about it but it kept coming back, she heard Nicole knock but she wasn’t in the mood to talk to her.
Before she could fully close her eyes, the door opened but she pretended to be sleeping so she doesn’t talk to Nicole.
“I know you are awake” Nicole started the conversat
