The car screeched to a violent halt, and without a second thought, I was out of it and screaming her name.
"Valentine!"
Panic clutched at my chest as I sprinted towards the mansion.
I screamed for her again. My eyes were searching everywhere. The pack members I could see looked confused about my apprehension and somehow that made my stomach sink.
"Has anyone seen my Luna?" I yelled.
One of them pointed to the balcony atop where I stood. I took some steps forward and looked upward.
This time I noticed someone peek down from above.
The blonde hair was all I really needed as confirmation.
I ran for the front door and pushed it apart before the sentinels standing by it could do so.
