I hurried out of Viel’s mansion, my chest burning with anger.
“Bullshit!” I shouted, slamming the steering wheel so hard my knuckles ached.
I clenched my fists and stared out the car window, my heart pounding. I had never imagined Viel would replace me with a maid an uneducated, worthless, beggar.
