Georgia slumped down in her chair at her desk and yawned. She had to be the only loser in the world that spent their Saturday writing a research paper that wasn't due for another week. It didn't really hurt anything, Georgia supposed, since she wasn't really speaking to Savannah, and because she was grounded for life, what else was she going to do with her day?
She wondered if her parents realized that most of the time, grounding didn't bother her, it gave her a chance to catch up on reading. She was fine without a cell phone, without a TV, perfectly happy. The unhappy part was the look her dad was giving her when she walked into the kitchen in the morning, finally able to peel herself out of bed.
