“I am so sorry to have brought up that. I hope it does not cause any problem between us,” Calvin’s father said to me as I faked a smile.
“No, it’s fine. I just don’t enjoy talking about it” I said to him as Meredith walked closer to me holding my hand. “Thank you for understanding and I hope that I will see you often,” she said to me as I nodded my head faking a smile.
“Thank you, Meredith, I am also sorry that I ruined your day. I shouldn’t have,” I apologized to them as Claire walked closer to me.
“We are actually sorry that we ruined your day. And didn’t even have time to show you this place,” She said to me, standing behind her mother.
“Thank you, I will visit more often,” I said to them as I looked at their faces, they all looked pitiful.
“Okay, we should get going,”
