Lyra’s POV
“What do you mean Calvin was involved in an accident?” I asked my mother the next day when I came back home, I had partied again after Calvin made it clear to me he wanted nothing to do with me.
“Yes, your selfishness has caused so many tragedies,” She said to me as I swallowed hard thinking of what she had just said to me.
“Do you know that right now at the hospital we are uncertain if he will even walk or not?” she asked me as I swallowed hard.
“I will see how he is,” I said to her as she scoffed,
“Do not even think of going to see him, I am certain that seeing you in his life right now would just cause more shock in his life,” She hissed at me like I was the reason Calvin was in that accident.
