Marianna’s POV
It looked like every night I was dreaming my own groundhog day. Only each time did it get deeper and more real.
I still couldn’t see his face clearly and I couldn’t take my eyes from his scars. The pale, thin lines formed in almost geometric shapes. I wanted to run my fingers through each of them, see where they begin and end, feel slightly thickened skin of them.
Gosh, the thought of it made me aroused.
I touched him. The muscles under my fingers hardened. He growled, his voice low and beastly. Something inside me moved like it wanted to respond to him. He grabbed and pulled me like the last time and sniffed my hair for a moment.
