Marianna’s POV
We were going through granny’s stuff for hours. She wrote down almost everything that happened to her. There were journals, pocket calendars, and notebooks filled with information about her research, which surprised me because I couldn't understand most of the things she researched. Antonia was right, she wasn't just a green witch. She noted also things that happened to her family, I melted for a while when I found out the dates of my birthday and some other important anniversaries were underlined, just like in a teenager's journal. We were important to her. But we still found nothing relevant. Only some vague mentions about Antonia's gift, my strange behavior and 'the need to research further'.
We were about to move to another carton when Gwen came in.
