Chapter 3 Being inquisitive, nibby, and feeling perplexed about my father’s whereabouts, I decided to follow him again. During a rainstorm, we walked into the woods together—my father a hundred feet in front of me, was leading me astray. I felt sticky under the foliage and tasty for the mosquitoes.
