It didn’t matter how hard I tried to fight it, I drifted off again until my phone went off. I stirred and finally was able to break the spell sleep had cast on me. Rolling over, I sat up and pulled my phone from my pocket. There was a text from Nikki telling me to go into the bathroom and wash my face clean. Apparently, she needed a clean canvas before she painted. I rolled my eyes and dropped my phone to the bed. Luckily for me, my face was clean.
