It’s crazy.
For years, I was never inspired to write anything.
And maybe, that was the one thing that caused my writer’s block. Lack of inspiration. I was not inspired by my childhood. I was not inspired by my high school experiences. Sad to say, but I was not even inspired by my marriage.
The only thing that inspired me was my illicit affair. And I know that that’s a f****d up thing to say but it’s the truth. I was inspired by my stupid sneaky affair. And as much as I hate to admit it, Atticus is my muse. He inspired this book.
