Zack's Point Of View
I woke up with Lenny in my arms, and I slightly smiled. I hoped she could block the bond between Cora and me, but I was not holding my breath. The only person who could break a bond is the moon goddess or if your mate died. I did not want Cora to die.
I knew what I needed to do, so I carefully removed my arms from around Lenny and got out of the bed. I grabbed my shirt on the wood chair in her room, put it on, and left the house. I need to speak to the moon goddess, and since Elder Rachel knew how to contact the moon goddess, I knew I needed to talk to her.
Once I was outside the elder's home, I knocked, and several seconds later, she opened the door.
"I heard a dragon was here. How is my daughter?" She asked with a not-so amused tone.
"Sleeping. Can we talk?"
