Cora's Point Of View
Gabe and I went with Helen to the council hall and are currently waiting for the council to arrive.
As we sat around the table, I looked at Helen and said, "Our friend never made it through the barrier. Why?"
"Only those who live here can go in and out of it. Since you were touching him, that meant he was able to come through."
"Ah, okay. Is there a way we can allow him in?" I asked.
"Of course. I will be right back," Helen said, and then she disappeared.
As we waited for Helen to return, council members started to show up. None of them said anything to us as they sat down, but I could hear their whispers. Isn't she suppose to be dead? Who is he?
As the last of the council members showed up, Helen appeared with Kevin at her side.
