Damien’s POV—
It is 7.30 pm. I have reached home and changed into my casuals after a shower, when my new number rings. I jump with expectation and take it in my hand. I look at the unknown number on my screen and I wait for the mobile to ring a few more times before I take the call but after two rings, it goes silent.
Shit! Should I call back? No I will wait and see. I wait for almost 10 minutes but my mobile never rings again.
I slowly walk to the kitchen and make myself a cup of coffee. I sit back on the sofa with my laptop open. I place the coffee on the centre table.
I look at my mobile, another 15 minutes have passed but there is no call yet.
I open my social profile and go to the notifications. There are no new messages, I check the last message I have sent.
