Stella’s POV
It was time to go back to college after spending a summer at home with Jack and our pack. I had tried to get back to normal with Jack but I still kept him at a distance. I didn’t want to have s*x with him because there was no desire to on my end. I also feared that I would get pregnant again and I wasn’t ready. So I always kept him at arm's length.
I was already packed and ready to go with half of my closet and all my school supplies. Jack had a few warriors take my bags to my car for me and loaded them up. I met him and Orson at the front door of the packhouse so I could tell them goodbye.
I smiled and hugged Orson first. He wrapped his arms around me tightly and swayed back and forth a little. I would miss our meals together and our constant conversations about
