Dinner time was probably one of the most awkward scenarios that Delnard has experienced in his lifetime. He thought that with all the problems and conflicting opinions floating around the house, dinner would be cancelled and everyone would just be off to do whatever they want. But, uncle Jeff and the Wrights were having none of that.
“It’s been a long time since we’re complete and we have guests!”
Delnard and Jonathon had shared a look signifying that uncle Jeff wasn’t taking no for an answer. They both feared that if they did not give in to his request he would get back to his dramatic antics and feign sickness to guilt trip everyone. Of course, he would have to try harder this time but for the sake of the elders, it was better to give in.
