Once I made the decision to leave the pack to search for Synthia, it was as if a heavyweight lifted off my chest. Unlike the past month when I was just existing without any purpose, I felt as if I had something to look forward to in life. I was ready to find my wife.
The next day, I handed over the responsibilities of the pack to Dominic and bid farewell to the pack members who were understanding of the situation. In fact, they welcomed the decision and wished me success in finding their Luna and bringing her home. They too needed her and wanted her back.
