“But if we had a child, then they would be the rightful heir, right? Even if one of those children is yours?” I frowned and felt relief flooding my body when he nodded. “Good, that makes things a lot easier. I suggest we tackle that before we have our mating ceremony. That is what you wanted to talk about, right?” He looked a little shocked, but then he looked proud as he smiled.
“Are you sure about this?” He frowned for a moment and I nodded my head.
“Yes, I think after what we have both been through, we can agree that if any of those children are yours, you would want to be a part of their lives.” I shrugged.
“What about us becoming mates?” He sounded hesitant.
