JARED drove me home quietly, and we got home without us saying a word to each other. While I was lying down in bed that night, many thoughts were running in my head.
First, I was wondering which rude person did that to my bike. It must have taken a lot of effort to do that. Whoever did it used power tools to inflict the damage. I wonder who would have access to those.
The first person that came to mind is Mariah, but she couldn’t have done it herself, so I wonder if her boyfriend Drix helped him do it. The possibility makes me sad because at one point, I liked him. It hurts to think that he’s capable of something like that.
I also can’t stop thinking of Tobey and what he said earlier. It’s not the first time I heard it, but he was so intense earlier that it made me feel unsettled.
