Chapter 10
Two nights passed with no results, other than the fact that a great many homeless teens had a safe place to sleep. Not in the numbers Tino might have liked, but the shelter building could only hold so many. There had been a few disputes among the teens, but nothing that Mr. and Mrs. Greene, the couple Seb had found, and the Parkers—another homeless couple who Niall had talked into serving as counselors—couldn’t handle.
“This is driving me crazy,” Tino complained as he and Armand got ready to face another night.
“If nothing else, my love, consider the fact that slowly but surely we’re taking away his potential victims.”
