Adam took Alexis with him to his own dorm room. He didn’t want to risk her boyfriend finding her. As soon as they left, Sicily hugged herself before sitting down and opening her laptop.
It was quiet between us, and I was not liking it.
"Do you need help with your homework?" I asked, sitting on my chair before I slid by her and kissed her shoulder.
Still silent…
"What's wrong?" I asked, concerned this time. She usually had a smart remark towards me. Instead, she brought her laptop screen to life and got to working on her assignments.
I wouldn't pry anymore, so I slowly stood up and laid back in my bed, trying to get comfortable.
"I was just thinking, how can a man treat his girlfriend like that? What kind of coward does that?" She asked, upset, her eyebrows
