“Are you ready to go?” Sicily asked as she stood on my doorway with her arms inside her coat pocket. I was sitting on my bed, making a few calls when I lifted my finger up to let her know I would be in a minute.
Today she was going to meet with my stepmom, and I didn’t want her to go alone. I had a feeling she was going to ambush her with some ridiculous request, and I was not going to allow it.
Good thing she didn’t know I was coming with Sicily.
