POV (ALEC) The soft pattering of rain had begun to fall and I was becoming consumed by watching it drip off the leaves and streak the windows outside.  It had only been a few hours since I left her, and I had wanted more than anything to tell her the truth, but even if we had not been interrupted now was the wrong time.  I could hear the whimpers and cries of the wolves, as I stood outside the door.
