Lily
I felt like a fool standing there, illuminated by the glow of New York as I stared out o the window with my back to the door. And it was feeling that only got stronger when I turned to him and he did nothing but stare at me. He had called my name as if he was warring between surprise and anger and I couldn’t help the “sorry” that rumbled our of my mouth. I didn’t want him mad at me, didn’t want to fight. And still he just stared.
Self consciously I moved to cover my stomach , always the one place on my curvy body that I was more self conscious. And he moved in an instant. Crossing the room in three long strides he pulled me towards him. Hands digging into my hips as he crushed me me to his chest.
“Come here.”
I sighed, it wasn’t just the feel of his solid chest against my body ,
