Ethan heard the sound of glass breaking, as if something had just been thrown through the window. He whipped up and around on the bed to see Rachel standing with a fireball -- pulled from the fireplace -- in her hand. There were shards of glass and a single arrow lying on the floor. She launched the fireball at Ethan, who dropped flat to avoid it. The fireball sailed just over his head, and hit the wall behind him. The wood paneling on the wall almost exploded, showering Ethan with splinters that thankfully bounced right off of his scales. Beth wasn't so lucky.
