Moment of Truth
The two men faced off in Marshalls ranch office, a pair of hungry men each with their own agenda. Marshall knew exactly what his was, but Trevor Sands? His was a much different story.
The call had come in three days before telling him that Heidi would be ready to return home, as soon as Trevor could arrange to come to the ranch and spend a little time getting reacquainted with his wife.
You cant just put her on the plane? hed asked.
No, I cant just put her on the plane, Mr. Sands, an annoyed Marshall retorted. Not after what shes been through, re-entry can sometimes be a little difficult. In Heidis case it might be especially difficult. Shes a deeply submissive woman who is going to require a man whos attuned to her specific needs.
