Chapter 9
The Audacity
It felt warm.
Warmer than it usually did in my bed.
I tried to move away from the heat source, but I was trapped, by something around my waist.
I slowly opened my eyes to figure out what was happening.
I was in bed with Red!
My head was on his chest, his arms encircled me and one of his legs laid on top of mine.
I looked at his sleeping face, feeling a sense of déjà vu come over me.
Then I pulled my arm out from the tangle and brought it up to his face. I placed my hand on his cheek. There was something about this man that pulled me toward him no matter what I did to try and stop it.
Then he opened his eyes, and I had a sea of sleepy green staring back at me.
