Ace's POV
Jane didn't show at college today, I was hoping to use her as a bit of a distraction to keep my mind off tonight. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, we should probably have met the other gang so we knew who we were going to be working with, but dad said it was unnecessary and a waste of everyone's time, seeing as he knows that they are to be trusted.
So instead of having one of our regular chats, which recently I've realised I look forward to, I'm watching the tall, balding Collin at the front of the classroom talking about how incentives for staff are a positive thing, although personally I prefer using the stick approach instead of the carrot, I've found that the gang are more productive if they know they could face a beating.
