Well, I sat him down as you said and we talked it all out again. Talked out the move again, too. Think maybe it worked this time. He seems to have calmed down, he’s talking to Chloe again…
Chloe’s giving me lessons in sensitivity towards your queer kid or something. Pointed me towards a couple of groups for families of gay kids, said they’ll have ideas. I guess it’d be nice to know I’m not the only guy out there struggling with this, and what to say to Shane about it. Don’t want him to get the wrong impression, and things are still a little fragile around here.
