23 – Avia’s POV:
I’m sitting in the Alpha’s office looking at the back of Molly and Emerson's heads as the Alpha talks. I’m hearing him but not paying attention. All I can concentrate on is the tingles that I am still feeling from the match Emerson and I had. I think I held it together pretty well since his hands were all over me. Goddess, what kind of dreams will I have tonight? That is if I can even get to sleep. I catch the Alpha saying something to the effect that the Vampires are coming after me and my brother. I’m scared to death. “Alpha, please keep Todd in the Packlands please. I don’t want anything to happen to him.” I wouldn’t be able to survive if something happens to my brother.
