I walked away from my mate with a heavy heart.
I thought that something changed between us in this new life that I have just because he saved me once. Well, I guess I was wrong. I wouldn't give up though. I will try to be closer to him. I wouldn't stop until he couldn't resist the mate bond's pull.
I shook my head when I realized what I was thinking.
I'm already late! I quickly ran to my classroom. I bit my lip when I saw the professor come in when I was still at the end of the hallway. Great!
