Chapter Nine
Over the next two months, Marcus continued to see clients regularly. He believed that he had benefited from his visit to the dominatrix. He felt that he had a deeper understanding of the psychological aspects of submission and how the dominant could manipulate the sub, bend him or her to their will. He continued to fend off any of the clients who sought a more intimate relationship with him, fashioning himself into a model professional. He thought he had trained himself well, that he was considerate with the girls who came to him, kind to them in his cruelty and attentive to their needs. He thought he was becoming good at seeing through their defences, skilled at getting them to confess their secret, shameful desires, while keeping his own under wraps.
