After giving Savannah the distraction she needed, my precious, little mate fell asleep cuddling with me. I laid there and enjoyed the closeness we were sharing for a few minutes, then I carefully climbed off the bed and got back to packing.
It took me a little over an hour to finish packing everything, then I had to figure out how I was going to get everything to the cabin. Knowing it would be difficult for Savannah to help carry it all such a long distance, I decided to ask my dad and Uncle James to lend a hand.
I mind linked both of them with my request, and I was very pleased when they were both willing to help. I thought about asking my younger brother, but I wasn’t sure if that was a good idea after the way Savannah treated his mate.
