Kana’s POV
I didn’t realize that I reached home so fast. I had so much stuff running through my mind I didn’t know what was happening. I texted Jax what happened and told him I left without my parents. I am assuming he will be at my house before I get there by the sound of his voice when I called him. As I clear the neighborhood before ours, I see Jax pacing back and forth on our porch.
He does not look happy and it looks like he’s been waiting there since I texted him. Wait! Did I just fly to Vegas from Portland in just a few hours? OMG! It felt like minutes that I got here that fast. As I am descending, I feel Jax run to me and engulf me in a hug. I love his hugs. And that’s when the water works start.
