“Nice,” He says, walking to stand right in front of me. His head is bent down slightly and I’m staring up at him with wide eyes, “Very nice.”
“Um, I uh…” I start wondering where on earth my brain went, since it’s clearly not with me anymore.
“Ellie!” I hear from behind me and silently promise to buy April something amazing to thank her for saving me.
“April.” I say, finally able to step away from Tyson.
She runs up and freezes when she sees who I’m standing with. I watch her eyes go big and she looks at me with her lips pressed tightly together, a worried expression on her face. I know that look, she’s about to blurt something out and she’s trying extremely hard to prevent it.
“Well, gotta go. Bye.” I say quickly, grabbing her arm and pulling her away.
