Amber was exhausted, she'd been up all night trying to find clues, along with Alice and Diane they took turns making food and drink runs out to the wolves who kept on searching through the night. She could see how tired Sam was too, but with every new team that went out, she went too. She never stopped long enough to catch her breath. With the last morning shift change, Amber decided to put her foot down.
"Enough." She grabbed Sam by the arm and with a scowl on her face led her inside.
"The last team is going out, I need to be with them." Sam tried to argue.
"No you don't, we have Michelle arriving later, and we need our Alpha to be coherent. "At this rate, you won't even be able to stand when she gets here."
