It had been a week since Aspen and I had a conversation.
And boy was it killing me.
She would leave extra early.
Work late.
Eat out.
Stay in her bedroom.
Leave to go places I don't even know.
She was just plain avoiding me and I can't help but feel bad.
Anytime I asked her to come to the office she would just say "email me" or "anything you need to say can be said on the phone because this is a direct line."
I didn't mean to hurt her or make her feel any way but I just felt like she didn't really want to be in the relationship.
What am I doing?
I'm the boss, if I ask her to come to my office she will come.
I pick up the phone and dial her office.
"Mr.Wright?" Her voice was sternly professional and I rolled my eyes.
"Ms. Williams to my office please"
