The conversation between Lucas and Mia was ingrained in my head and I couldn't let the words that he said leave my mind. They were repeating over and over again and I didn't know what to do or think...but I knew what I had to do.
After the conversation, Mia walked away from Lucas and got back on the phone with me.
"Alena...are you still there?" she asked.
I paused for a moment. "I'll be right downstairs. Let me freshen up and change real quick okay?"
