"I need to use the bathroom," Milan suddenly told the two men once they were too far from the resort to turn back.
Dimitri's eyes met hers through the rear view mirror. Milan sent him a silent plea, hoping he understood her plan.
"There's a restaurant up ahead," he told her, "I'll stop there and you can go."
Milan did not know if the restaurant he was talking about was the same one that they had planned to meet Alia at but she desperately hoped it was.
Dimitri parked outside the cafe and stepped out, causing Milan to follow route. The security guard was already out by the time she stepped out and lead her into the restaurant.
