I was about to exit my office when Danilo walked in with my phone in hand. “It’s finally charged.” He told me as he placed it in my hand.
“Damn I missed MY phone.” I said, emphasizing on the ‘my’.
“It was barely two days.” He chuckled as he walked over to pour himself a drink.
“Oh, yes help yourself.” I muttered sarcastically as I checked through my emails, messages, and calls.
“Thanks. I knew you were the best capo in the world.” He laughed even harder before bringing the glass to his lips.
“What the f**k?” I said with brows furrowed. “That unknown number called again.”
“What? The one that had information about Cata?” He asked me quickly.
“Oh, I don’t know. It’s fūcking unknown.” I replied, rolling my eyes.
