Chapter 23Madsen followed Elnar and Gunnar down the brightly lit corridor. Elnar dimmed the lights as they passed using the same wrist device that Jonas had. Elnar explained that the hallway was supposed to dim itself when it sensed no one was in the area, but sometimes there was a lag time.
They were headed for the center of the colony. To expedite their arrival, Gunnar called for a robot taxi. It didn’t take them long to reach the center. They maneuvered through a throng of people and kiosks after the taxi dropped them off. The Council chambers were several walking meters away through the crowds.
