Dr. Parker meets me at the front door as soon as I arrive at the research clinic, which I will admit is a bit odd. I mean, what doctor meets their patient at the front door? I keep my cool as he leads me to the elevators.
“Ms. Romanis, I know that your father wanted us to run a sleep test for you. We have prepared a room for you. Please, follow me.”
I follow quietly behind the doctor, scanning each door, and anything else that I can spot in hopes of finding answers.
