I gasp for air as I don’t even know whom I should address first! Lex’s revelation is a hard blow on me. But Hunter looks like he is about to attack. He is already in jeans, shoes and a t-shirt and with a bag in his hand.
“Th-thanks,” I run up to him and grab the bag, opening it to get my clothes out. I don’t want to spend even a minute more wearing next to nothing under their gazes! But also… I want to be sure that they are not killing each other while I change.
I look at them both, hesitating.
“Can I be sure that while I change behind that tree,” I point to a huge oak and ask, “The two of you wouldn’t kill each other?”
