An Attack

    I have tried several spells over the last few days trying to get my magic back. Still I am at a loss and have no idea what else to try. After the dinner the other day I am more determined then ever to get my powers back. Not only do I need them to get Bjorn out of that place but I want to be able to help keep our pack safe. I have been having a lot of strange dreams these last few nights as well. Dreams of an attack resulting in many dead keeps replaying in my head. With these dreams there is always a voice telling me what to do. 

    Last nights dream was the worst. I had to watch Tony die. The thought of loosing either one of my mates is enough to drive me crazy. I love them both more than anything and I will lose it if anything happens to either of them. I have decided to try my hand at potions today. I am making some for extra help in case anything should happen. I have made a set of empowering potions. Meaning the person who drinks them will become stronger. I have also made a multiplying powers potion as well. These will only magnify someone's magic abilities. Then there is the one I just finished. This potion is to vanquish anyone it gets thrown at. I am feeling proud of my accomplishments for the day.

    As I start to clean up my mess Colton comes to me wanting to be held. I pick him up to my hip so I can continue cleaning. Colton starts to fuss and grab bottles of herbs. I try to take them from him but he insists on making a potion himself. I decided to set him up at the kitchen table with the bottles hes wanted and help him make his own concoction. It's so cute like a kid baking with their mother. I smile to myself as we go through the herbs he's collected. Once all the herbs are in the pan he starts pointing to the counter. He points adamantly to a couple of oils and I grab them and bring them to the table. Colton opens the bottles and splashes some in the pan.

    Colton dusts his hands off in a satisfied manner. He stands up and starts motioning to the stove. As I giggle at his strong will, I take the pan and place it on the stove and turn it on. Colton smiles in glee as I do what he wants. I have no idea what he made but he seems happy with it. It looks like we have actually made something but he's just a toddler what on earth could he have possibly made. I let the thoughts fade as we finish up. I grab some vials and place the liquid in them and cork them closed. I show Colton the mystery liquid. He smiles and shoves them at me. I look at him confused and before I can do anything further Tony enters the room and takes Colton from me bouncing him in the air making him giggle. 

    I look at the liquid in the vials and wonder if he actually knew what he was doing. I call my sisters and give them both a potions bag with the labeled potions I made. I explain what they are for before they sit at the table. It's almost dinner time so I load my mess into the dishwasher and put the herbs and oils away. "We are under attack" we all hear through the mind link. I can't help the gasp that leaves my mouth. I take the kids with the maids down to the panic room in the basement as I set Colton down I see he still has the vials of potions in his hands. He babbles at me and calls to me. I try to leave to join the fight as he starts crying. "Mommy drink all" He says to me. I look down at him in awe and look around the room to see they heard it as well.

    With out any thought I open the vials and one by one I drink them absently. Colton smiles and says. "Mommy strong magic" He calls out with a satisfied smile. "Okay stay here till one of us comes to get you." I command the room and the adults nod in agreement. I turn to leave. As I run through the hall to the stairs I find myself angrier than ever that I can't just teleport outside. In mid run I find myself outside. Did I just teleport I think to myself. I find my sisters in battle with rouges. "What is this" I mind link. "Rouges attacked patrol at the border Kitten" Zachary answers back. 

    I watch as Tony gets clawed in his side and the dreams are flying back to my thoughts. Seeing him hurt provokes something inside me. I can feel that I am still my white wolf but I am standing taller. I teleport myself to Tony and Zach. With out even touching the rouge he goes flying like things are bending to my will. I sense the stares of everyone including the rouges. "LEAVE NOW! Or stay and die." I roar as loud as possible. While most of the rouges flee in terror there are a few that stand their ground. 

    "You got it back" Zachary states through the link. I can't help the smile that occurs. The rest of the rouges that are left are defeated easily. Most are dead but we kept three prisoners. They appeared to be the leaders of this attack and I want answers. I get Tony to the pack doctor as fast as possible. He's lost a lot of blood and he's unconscious. We lost none from our pack. I can't help but feel that this wasn't a real attack. I feel like it was to test our defenses. "Meet me in the office Zach, I have things to tell you that are important." I mind link him. As I get myself to the panic room to relieve the kids and maids. I let them no it's over as I get to the office.
