LINDSEY'S POV
Bright lights blinded my eyes as I struggled to push them open. Feeling uncomfortable, I shut them again and tried again for the second time.
I was a fighter. I was not the type to give up and that is why I forced my eyes open despite the pain that I was feeling at that time.
Where am I? What happened to me? What is this place?
My eyes teared up a bit but in the end, I was able to see. The first thing I saw was the white painted ceiling that was just above my eyes.
Where is this place? I don't remember being in such a place.
