LINDSEY’S POV
I made a stop at the police station. I needed to have a word with the cop handling Jim’s case. The last time that we had talked, she told me that he had managed to escape in the woods. I wanted to follow up and know if they had caught up with him. The last thing that I wanted right now is risking him attacking us once again.
If there is one thing that I knew for sure is that, Jim will attack again. From the last encounter that we had, I come to learn that what he felt for me was more of an obsession. There is nothing else that he was going to do other than coming for me once again. That is if he gets to know that I am still alive.
I was going to check on them hoping that he was arrested. Jim was smart, if he is out in the streets, then it is not even a discussion
